This policy is effective from 20th May 2018 1.4 I am committed to safeguarding the privacy of my clients data and personal data collected during my work remit on behalf of my clients 1.5 This policy applies where I am acting as a data controller and a data processor for both my clients and when working on behalf of my clients 1.6 My website complies to GDPR as it does not use cookies 2 What Personal Data I Collect 2.1 In most instances the personal data I collect and store is name, phone number, email address and work address or any other information given to me by an individual or shared on a business card 2.2 In the instance of recruitment, I will also store CV’s 2.3 I will store business plans and financial information shared by you and those that I have prepared for your business 2.4 I will also store details of contracts and financial transactions 3 How I store Personal Data 3.1 Personal data is stored electronically on my laptop and/or mobile phone 3.2 Both devices are password protected 3.3 Both devices are backed up in a secure cloud-based application which is password protected 3.4 Both devices can be remotely wiped of data 3.5 Hard copies of document are stored in my office which is locked when not in use and has an external security camera 4 How I Use Personal Data 4.1 I will never use your persona data to send marketing material or make contact other than that necessary for the purpose of carrying out legitimate and/or contractual business 5 Providing Your Personal Data to Others 5.1 I will never share your personal details with a third party outside of the remit of the work I have been tasked to carry out, unless I have permission to do so 5.2 I may use your personal details (email, phone number and work address) in correspondence with suppliers as a part of a pre-agreed task 6 Retaining and Deleting Personal Data 6.1 You may request details of personal information which I hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998.
